This is the new-new engine form Raw Preformance. It is a stage two build with pauter rods, CP coated pistons, Modified STI crank and blueprint and balance.

Paint is by Duplicolor. It is a two part paint and had to be applied to a warm surface. It was not an easy paint to apply but the results were well worth the pain

Mild ported and polished heads

ARP Head studs

Head studs by ARP. Recommended for any build. This is a result of the last motor failure and lesson learned. The last motor experienced an over boost condition and stretched the stock head bolts. This caused water to leak into the cylinder and caused a hydro lock condition. Turned out this was entirely my own fault. Ray had warned me about reusing old head bolts... but did I listen... No! That's what you get when you don't heed the advice of the professional.
